Women and the Negativity Receptor

Are you your own worst critic? This article will explain why and what to do about it!

Ilissa

Why is it that women pick up on the slightest slur and never hear the good stuff? Criticisms are stored forever; compliments evaporate instantly.

Plan for a Good Night's Sleep

Getting quality, consistent sleep can be quite a feat. Try these tricks and solutions to make happy, healthy sleep your reality.

Plan for It

Decide when you want to wake up and count backward about seven hours. Now take about a 15-minute period before that to start your slowdown process. That means taking five minutes to finish up must-do chores, followed by five minutes of hygiene stuff (flossing, washing face and so on) and five minutes of relaxing into your sleep state, through things like meditation and Read More...

Why You Should Go to Bed Early

For the next few weeks I will be posting articles that address sleep issues. Look for my blogs if this topic is of interest to you. Ilissa

Would it kill you to go to bed at a reasonable hour? Actually, the opposite may be true. Now researchers are linking late nights to weight gain, addiction—even cancer.

Tamika Handy could star in her own workout video. The 37-year-old mother of five is a nutrition consultant and a fitness coach—with the chiseled biceps to prove it. But for most of her adult life, she had one serious health risk factor: She didn't go to sleep early enough.Read More>>>
